Joel G. Bowden
Esquire as the Senior Lawyer has been in
practice for more than 25 years. Mr. Bowden
is proficient in personal injury cases. He
has handled cases across the state and has
been involved in numerous trials. Mr. Bowden
is a graduate of Wake Forest University and
he received his law degree from North
Carolina Central University. A partial

Teresa Lipscomb Burney
Teresa Li pscomb
Burney has been part of the Joel G. Bowden Law Office
since 1987. Ms. Burney is the Office
Administrator and North Carolina State Bar Certified
Paralegal. She received her Bachelor of Arts and
Science Degree from Bennett College and her Masters
of Public Administration from UNC-Greensboro. She
is married and has one daughter, Caitlyn Victoria and is a member
of Calvary Christian Center where she serves as a
Ministry Leader. Ms. Burney is a member of North
Carolina Advocates for Justice, The North Carolina
State Bar Paralegal Division, Delta Sigma Theta
Sorority, Inc. and serves on the PTA Board. We are
very fortunate to have her aboard and look forward
to the continued success she will bring to the Joel
G. Bowden Law Office.

Chimeaka ("CL") White
Chimeaka ("CL") White is the
Executive Assistant to Senior Attorney Joel G.
Bowden.
She has been
with the Law Office since 2007. As her responsibilities she
manages several projects with the organization. If
you call or visit our Greensboro office she is most
likely the first person you will meet. Known for her
warm smile and professionalism, CL always makes sure
that clients and potential clients are treated with
kindness and respect and that they receive prompt
assistance. She obtained her B.S. degree in
Chemistry from NC A&T State University. When not
working, Ms. White enjoys spending time with her two
children, Harmony and Sincere, family and friends.

Olga Lucia Vigoya Miles
Olga Miles
 is
a legal assistant with the Joel G. Bowden Law
Offices. She specializes in Spanish interpretation.
Ms. Miles has worked with the public for a number of
years, which makes her a great people person. Her
primary focus is the Hispanic clientele being fluent
in English and Spanish. She is a tremendous asset to
the office. Ms. Miles has one son and enjoys
spending her extra time working in the community.
